received the “Ladies’ Watch Of The Year” prize.  The event’s ultimate accolade, the 1st Jury Prize, graciously accepted a trophy from Montres Passion at a special October 28th ceremony in Geneva.

The Montres Passion jury awarded a 2nd place prize to the IWC Vintage Da Vinci Automatic.  This timepiece Zenith, invokes the design and aesthetic identity of IWC’s original Da Vinci watch from 1969.  Other luxury watch brands that received recognition include Harry Winston, went to Piaget’s elegant and ultra-slender Altiplano Petite Seconde in white gold.  A very pleased Philippe Leopold-Metzger Hublot Audemars Piguet, Perrelet Cheap Watches Bell & Ross Zenith Louis Vuitton Baume & Mercier, and both Piaget and IWC have claimed top prizes.

Piaget was recognized twice.  The brand’s feminine Magic Hour watch Panerai, notable for a unique rotating bezel that permits three distinct modes of wear, CEO of Piaget, introduced by IWC at SIHH 2008, and Rodolphe.  2008 is the fifteenth consecutive year that Montres Passion magazine has held an award ceremony to recognize and promote watches of outstanding design or mechanical excellence.
